A Single Point

When I took this photograph I was actually taking pictures of a levy experimenting with diagonal lines. A plane just happened to fly over and I figured it to be perfect for a single point. I got lucky too because my camera was set at the proper settings for the photograph to turn out. The camera was set at f18 with a 1/1000 shutter speed.

Diagonal Lines

In this photograph I was trying to lead the eyes to the eagles nest with the diagonal lines created by the power lines. I over exposed this photo somewhat because of the sun. Even though not technically correct, I do think that the darker sky with the sun ring gives a somewhat interesting effect. I also thought that the sun would add another point to the photograph as well, creating multiple points. The camera was set at f18 and a shutter speed of 1/500.

Focus

I actually selected this photograph because most of my others did not turn out and I did not intend on using it for a submission. I unfocused the camera when I took the photograph and added additional blur to the photo with the enlarger in the darkroom.
